Official Meeting with Mr Surangel Whipps Jr., President of the Republic of Palau

On May 15, 2024, Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, met with the Honorable Surangel Whipps Jr., President of Palau, during the Qatar Economic Forum 2024. The meeting focused on exploring investment opportunities in Palau, with the President providing an overview of the country’s investment landscape and extending an invitation to Dr. Amir Ali Salemi and JTA team to visit Palau.

President Whipps highlighted Palau’s significant growth potential, particularly in the tourism sector. He emphasized the nation’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment for foreign investors and expressed enthusiasm about welcoming JTA’s investment in the country.

Dr. Salemi shared his interest in Palau’s opportunities as a new destination for JTA,  particularly in the tourism and agriculture sectors, and affirmed his commitment to advancing discussions on potential collaborations.
